We are here at the end of November where the rain pours, the sky is overcast and fog is on the horizon, today is actually icy blue skies and bright! Therefore what better thing to do than start a creative project, draw, paint, sew, make a beautiful panel in stained glass or several small ones to give as gifts.
I have been tinkering away for weeks now on several projects at once. I work well in that way so I keep a bright edge on my work, a new eye, a clear head, a fresh vision. It is all becoming fruitful as the tables transform into bright and colourful finished pieces.
Come and see me at The Old Manor Hotel, Trowle Common, Trowbridge, BA14 9BL 11am -4pm Sunday 30th November the Affordable Art Fair, where I will be with other creative people selling beautiful locally made craft. I also have New Vouchers for courses so consider buying one to go towards a glass course for the new year.
Front doors have recently taken my eye for new designing and making stained glass, a durable and pleasant way to have the name of your house or simply a pleasing pattern in colour to shed light in your life. I do take commissions at any time and also consider restoration. After recently becoming a member of ICON (The Institute of Conservation) I can now study the real interesting stuff of conservation, which is fascinating and exciting !!
Onward we go into Winter a cold and bitter time when we feel like hibernating as the bears do in the freezing parts of the world. Of course we do not hibernate but wrap ourselves in warm layers continuing onward and upward with all our daily work and chores. Wishing you all a beautiful wintertime whatever you do leading towards the Christmas holidays.
