The Autumn leaves are gently falling and piling up in the corners everywhere for scurrying animals to hide in or take as extra bedding for the winter days. I have completed my time here at Woolley grange farm studios, it has been six years and it has flown by with so many busy days, fun students sessions, blood, sweat and tears. I have loved every minute of it!! Angle of Light Stained Glass will continue once I have moved completely and landed in Quebec, Canada where I once had a studio and will set up again. It is a very exciting time, all my glass and tools have been packed and sent to the shippers who will send them off next week once things have completed.
I would like to say a Big Enormous Thank You to all my clients from all over the South West of the UK and other gorgeous people in Surrey and Dorset, Lacock and Yeovil to name but a few. In fact everyone who I have created something for personally or through Open Studios where you have searched and found ‘just the thing your heart desired’. I have thoroughly enjoyed offering a service and being part of the restoration and conservation of historic buildings which have such deep interest that is close to my heart.
I am now looking forward to the New Beginnings of teaching the Art of Stained Glass painting in French/English in Montrèal, Quebec, Canada and in my studio on the South Shore. I am also looking forward to creating wonderful stained glass for homes and offices in the region which will reflect a more modern vision of the world and nature which surrounds us all.
The wind in the trees and the cold nip in the air tells us to layer up with hats and gloves, keeping warm is wonderful whilst walking in Autumn woodlands and crunching leaves. Nature is ever inspiring me so I shall keep sketch books in the meantime whilst on the move which will be living diaries to inspire in my ever changing environment.
Look after yourselves and keep being creative!
