Beginners
Make a panel 30cm x 30cm and learn how to cut glass, lead your panel, solder and cement it. Finally clean, polish and take your stained glass away to hang at home or work, (designs can be provided or you may draw your own, tutition for drawing is available in these classes).

Traditional Glass painting
Come to see how glass painting is a fascinating medium. Cut glass, mix paints and paint a medieval face, fruits or animals in the old tradition. Guidance and help at hand. Learn about the kiln and how temperature plays an important part of the result. Use silver stain to give your glass a really polished look. Several pieces of glass painting achievable to create a small panel in these classes. (Drawings provided, but please bring your own if you prefer).

Copper foil
Make a lamp or a panel in copper foil in this class. Learn the art of drawing your own pattern, choose your glass, cut glass, grind and copper foil your pieces according to your pattern. Finally solder, clean, wax and polish ! Take away your lamp or light catcher to hang at home or work. (Designs will be provided or you may draw your own). You can be creative with the shape you choose to make your panel! – please note the lamp base is not included in the price –

Studio time/workshop space
This is workshop space given on an hourly basis to be arranged in advance by telephone or email which are given below. It is to allow anybody who wishes to create their own projects in stained glass or finish large projects. It is for people who don’t have a studio and need a space to work. The kiln can also be reserved during these sessions. All times reserved by anyone must be respected if for any reason there is a cancellation a telephone call the day before must take place for the smooth running of this busy workshop. Thank you!
£19.00 per hour in one, two or three hour slots.
£20.00 for kiln hire this includes whiting or paper for the kiln. Please note that any extras such as paint powders, kiln wash, enamels etc. must be bought beforehand at a stained glass supplier.
